The legendary story of Batman and Robin has reached nearly mythic proportions: the crime-fighting Dynamic Duo, always one step ahead of the criminals they pursue and never meeting a case too big.

The Eisner-winning superstar team of writer Jeff Lemire ( Sweet Tooth) and artist Dustin Nguyen ( Batman) unite for a three-issue limited-series exploring the beginning of Dick Grayson's crime-fighting career.

It shows that first inkling of the struggle these two will always have.bruce invading further into someone's life without their permission.About the Book "Batman created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, by special arrangement with the Jerry Siegel family."īook Synopsis Robin is just starting out at the side of Batman, struggling to find his own path from personal tragedy to being a Superhero. The reveal of the "official robin" suit I think is my favorite moment. Dick Grayson is the main focus & its great to see how difficult his relationship is with Bruce. And with that being said, though this book contains a lot of the main points that we associate with batman training a robin, and more specifically the mishaps he had with Dick Grayson, we're still pr esented with a unique take on the origins of the first robin. So it's safe to say that I was eager for this book & preordered it the moment I could. If you read nightwing from new 52 & upward, every story involves some flashback to his time as robin but we never get to new series with him as the boy wonder. And I've been yearning for a recent book that involves dick as Robin, especially one that isn't technically a flashback. Dick Grayson is my favorite comicbook character with Mr Miracle & invincible being tied for second. The ending of this book is what sold me on wanting to continue more of this story.
